The mission of Eastern University's Student Activities Board is to create, organize and implement a variety of co-curricular activities and events in an effort to provide social, recreational, spiritual, cultural, and developmental programs in college life for the Eastern University student body.
The Student Activities Board (SAB) is selected in the Spring semester for service to begin the following academic year. The SAB is divided into three committees: Entertainment, which is primarily responsible for dances; Peforming Arts, which is primarily responsible for concerts and coffeehouses; and Special Events, which is responsible for a wide variety of events including bowling trips, movies, Fall Festival, and day trips. While each committee has distinct responsibilities, all SAB members are expected to help with all SAB-sponsored events. See Event Descriptions for a more detailed description of common events.
