Visitor Etiquette Tips:

  • Remain in the doorway, if possible
  • Seek approval to enter from resident
  • Wash your hands upon entry
  • Ask residents their comfort level w/masks and try to be respectful of their boundaries

Mask wearing is strongly encouraged indoors regardless of a students’ vaccination status.  It is really important to remember that not everyone has the same comfort level or social circumstances. Do not assume someone’s vaccination status based on whether they are wearing a mask. People may choose to mask to protect immunocompromised loved ones, to maintain a sense of safety, or as required by work, internships. Try to be compassionate towards one another.

Additional Reminders:

  • As a reminder, residential students are not allowed to host overnight guests.
  • Students are also strongly encouraged to limit off campus trips, especially if they may encounter large crowds or areas with high community transmission rates.
