Why I teach at Eastern
I love teaching at Eastern due to the Christian environment and the students that are in this community. Eastern is like a large family with strong Christian commitments and values which can be discussed, displayed and included within all activities in and out of the classroom. This living faith and the Gospel message is greatly needed in our world. Without wise leadership a nation falls; with many counselors there is safety (Proverbs 11:14). How much better to get wisdom than gold, understanding than silver (Proverbs 16:16). I am thankful to the Lord for the opportunity to serve this university and student body, playing a small part in contributing to my students’ growth in understanding and wisdom so that they have an increased ability to become successful and become counselors providing wise leadership in their home, community, nation and world.
