Juan V Garcia-Bossio received his Professional Musician Diploma (electric bass concentration) from EMC Berklee School of Music International Network, his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Eastern University and his Master of Arts in Music Therapy from Drexel University. Juan has many years of experience teaching electric bass and working a professional bass player, performing and recording with several artists in Philadelphia, New York and overseas. Juan has toured, performed and recorded several albums with a wide variety of bands, includingTV and radio shows as well as sporting events.

Juan also works as a full-time music therapist, and he has experience working with a variety of ages and populations in the music therapy field including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, NICU, learning disabilities, teens considered “at-risk” because of socio-cultural factors, physical and developmental disabilities, and victims of trauma. His Master’s thesis is entitled “The use of songwriting in increasing group cohesion and reducing negative symptoms of schizophrenia: a literature based study”.
