Jacquelyn Raco has 23 years of experience as a nurse. She worked in Pediatric Infant Surgery, Bone Marrow Transplant, and Pediatric Outpatient Services at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh before beginning twelve years of experience as a Certified School Nurse and Nurse Coordinator in the Spring-Frod Area School District. She obtained her M.Ed. at Eastern University in 2011 and her certification in School Health Supervision in 2012.
Jacquelyn came to Eastern in 2016 and working to maintain and update the curriculum for the School Health Supervisors certification Program, the School Nurse Certification Program, and the Master in School Health Services Program. She is promoting the programs for distance learning so that school nurses can access the curriculum across the state of Pennsylvania; all the school health programs are 100% online.
Her professional memberships include: National Association of School Nurses, Pennsylvania Association of School Nurses and Practitioners, Montgomery County School Nurses Association, and Signa Theta Tau International.
