Lay people, chaplains, prison ministry volunteers, para-church organizations, and correctional professionals can all benefit from learning this comprehensive approach for effective intervention, service, and advocacy for those under correctional control and for those who have reentered the community. Course content of this program prepares students to effectively serve both youth and adults.

Eastern's Certificate in Juvenile Justice Ministry:

  • Provides a credential to persons who serve youth and adult populations under correctional control
  • Prepares students to minister holistically to youth offenders and their families
  • Equips persons to administer effective and life-changing reentry and after-care with returning citizens

More Information:

  • The program is 12 credits and can be completed in one year
  • Each course has an online component with a Saturday (or 2-day) on-ground class
  • Financial Aid is available
  • A high school diploma or equivalency is required
