Hello everyone. My name is Michael Dziedziak, and I am the Executive Director for Recruitment for Traditional Undergraduate Admissions at Eastern University. I hail from the great state of New Jersey, but now live near Eastern. I graduated in the spring of 2001 and now have a chance to give something back to a community that has blessed me with so very much and to help share with you what a truly wonderful place this is.
Eastern provided me with many opportunities to learn and grow, both inside and outside of the classroom. I double majored in political science and history, and spent the fall of 2000 interning for U.S. Congressman Joseph Pitts in Washington, DC. I was also able to serve my fellow students as president of the Student Government Association during my junior year.
My wife, Lori, and I met during our first year at Eastern. She also graduated in the Spring of 2001. In my spare time, I am avid New York Mets and Giants fan. I also watch a lot of the movie “Cars” with our two sons, Grant and Andy.
Eastern is a unique place where students are taught to “let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream” (Amos 5:24). We in the Admissions team cannot wait to share this with you. I look forward to answering all your questions about Eastern. We would love to know more about you, so please fill out our questionnaire.
