In honor of the Inauguration of our 10th President, Ronald A. Matthews, Eastern will be hosting a variety of events to celebrate the history, legacy, and impact of Eastern University. To celebrate the visual artists of our community, we will be hosting a week long Art Show in the Warner Library.
All members of the Eastern community (student, faculty, staff, alumni, etc.) are welcome to enter a piece into this show. Pieces may be inspired by Eastern University (its spirit, mission, campus), the inauguration theme (“Transformational Love”), or anything else that inspires you!
Eastern is home to many talented people and we look forward to showcasing that talent in this event!
We ask that all submissions follow these parameters:
Pieces may be in any medium; paint, pencil, metal, wood, clay, fabric, mixed media, photography, etc.
Paper pieces should be no larger than 11x17
Artwork must be able to stand on its own, rest on an easel, or be mounted on foam board
Those wanting to submit video pieces or other forms of electronic visual media should reach out to Meggin Capers
All pieces must be submitted by Wednesday, March 13 to the Special Events Office in the Gym Cottage.
