EU College of Business and Leadership Hosts Christian Business Networking Event April 23
St. Davids, PA: March 30, 2015: Eastern University’s College of Business and Leadership is hosting a Christian Business Networking Event on Thursday, April 23 at 5:30PM in McInnis Auditorium. The event speaker, Julius Walls, Jr., will present a message titled, “Who Are You?” which will discuss three questions that are essential to living the life for which we were conceived.
Julius Walls, Jr. is currently the Pastor of Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church in Yonkers, NY and serves as the President of Greater Centennial Community Development Corp., a non-profit organization that assists local families and individuals in achieving economic stability and self-reliance. He is best known for his work as CEO of Greyston Bakery and his support of the average employee through open-hiring and improved training methods. Throughout his career, Walls has served on multiple national and local non-profit and for-profit boards. He is also celebrated as the co-author of Mission, Inc., The Practitioner’s Guide to Social Enterprise and has been featured on major television networks such as CBS, CNN, and ABC.
This event is open to all (undergraduate, graduate and doctoral) Eastern University business, healthcare, management, nonprofit, leadership and political science students.The program will begin with a Meet and Greet at 5:30PM, followed by Walls’s presentation at 7:00.
Another opportunity will be presented on Friday, April 24 at 10:00 AM in McInnis Auditorium, when Julius Walls will be lecturing at the University's weekly Windows on the World lecture series on "Economics & Work on the Margins: Engaging the Poor & the Powerless." (This free event is open to the public.)
