Harrisburg, PA - Eastern University is excited to announce the transition of its Harrisburg site to a new location. Conveniently positioned at the intersection of several major highways, the new location will provide convenient access to Harrisburg’s adult students, along with a state-of-the-art learning experience.
The impressive new 4,600-square-foot location features six professional and exceptionally modern classrooms. Two of the classrooms will be used for traditional class formats, two are set up to host online discussion classes, and two are designed for conference-style classes. All of the classrooms are equipped with large smart TVs and WiFi hotspots.
The location also includes a student lounge and kitchenette so that adult students coming from work can relax and enjoy a meal before class. A new office area provides workspaces for the entire Harrisburg administration, and new carpet, ceilings, and paint contribute to the contemporary and enjoyable aesthetics of the building.
“The new site will build on our rich history of serving students in Harrisburg with excellence, dedication, and hospitality,” shares Provost Kenton Sparks. “This location provides the space and cutting-edge technology that students expect from an innovative, 21st-century university like Eastern.”
While this particular location is new, Eastern has offered classes in Harrisburg for over 20 years. Adult undergraduate and graduate students can choose from a variety of online and evening programs, including a BS in Early Childhood Education, MBA in Management, MBA in Health Administration, MS in Health Services Management, MEd in Multicultural Education, MEd in School Counseling, and Certification in PreK-4.
