Mail Drop-Off Cutoff Times

The following schedule is in effect Monday through Friday. To receive prompt service, please try to meet these dispatch times.

Saturday Deliveries: Do not request Saturday deliveries as additional charges are incurred. Also, should you require Saturday service, determine if anyone is going to be at delivery destination. Consider signature waiver to be sure the item is left by drivers.

Mail Drop-Off

  • All first class one and two ounce envelopes are picked up each business day at 4:00 p.m.
  • Packages that need to be sent out via United Parcel Service must be in the Mail Center by 3:00 p.m. each day.
  • Outbound mail collected during the day is processed for delivery to the USPS at 4:00 p.m.

Couriers for Overnight or Second-Day Service

UPS* 3:00 p.m. cutoff
USPS Express/Priority* 4:15 p.m. cutoff

*Mail Services recommends using the United States Postal Service or United Parcel Service for overnight or second day service. Both of these couriers are guaranteed and their cost is less than their competitors.

To conserve costs, do not use overnight services on Friday. Consider Priority USPS mail for Monday delivery.
