The Mission of the Suzanne Walton Health Service is to enhance the educational and developmental process for students by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning; promoting an optimal level of wellness; enabling students to make informed decisions about health-related concerns; and empowering students to become self-directed and prudent consumers of health care services. In so doing, the staff seeks to maximize opportunities for students to achieve their wellness potential integrating body, mind, and spirit to grow into all that God intends.

Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
(closed 1/2 hour for lunch)
Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

*All lab specimens are sent to LABCORP for processing. Please let us know if your insurance providers requires use of a different laboratory.
Programmatic Departmental or Activity Specific Student Health Requirements
Each Eastern University department, program or activity that has student health-related requirements and/or compliance matters that are in addition to or differ from what the University has set for the general student population sub groups are responsible to:
- Know what those requirements are.
- Communicate those requirements to their student populations in a timely manner.
- Maintain student records related to these requirements.
Flu Shots Available at the Student Health Center
Flu shots are recommended for all students who live in Residence Halls, and for students with a chronic condition like asthma or diabetes. You can get vaccinated at the health center, and the $20 cost of the shot can be added to your student bill.

Student insurance is mandatory for all undergraduate CAS students and all International students – both undergraduate and graduate. Go to www.firststudent.com for more detailed insurance information.
Graduate students will no longer be able to purchase our school insurance plan. Please look at the government health insurance sites for more information. We encourage you to compare prices with private insurance companies as well.
