In some instances, the Department of Education requires that the student sign and complete a Statement of Educational Purpose.  By signing this form, the student agrees to spend Federal Student Aid funds only on educational expenses and affirms that s/he is not in default on a federal loan or does not owe a grant overpayment.

You may complete the form in person with an EU employee witnessing the original identification document or you may complete the form with a notary.  The completed form must then be submitted with a copy of the identification document witnessed by the notary.
