The President's Prestigious Programs
The Templeton Honors College Award
$2,000.00 + EU Award. Students admitted into the Templeton Honors College cohort will receive a yearly award in addition to their EU award. Students who have excelled and want to be challenged academically are encouraged to apply. Indicators of academic excellence: a 3.9 GPA and/or 1350 SAT, critical reading and math, or 30 ACT. The Leadership Fellows Award
$1,000.00 - $2,000.00 + EU Award. Eastern gives 40 Leadership awards on a competitive basis to first-year students. Students who have at least a 3.3 CGPA and can demonstrate previous leadership are encouraged to apply. Visit LFP for application.
The Goode Scholars Award
$2,000.00 + EU Award. Annually, the Goode Scholars award at Eastern will be awarded to twenty first-year students from urban areas. To be eligible, a student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or rank top 30% in class and be service-minded, with displayed leadership abilities. Students admitted to the Goode Scholars Program will receive a yearly award in addition to their EU award and is renewable annually if all program requirements have been met. EU-Nova Engineering Fast Track Scholarship
$2,000.00. Prospective students who will be declaring the EU-Nova Engineering fast track may be eligible for this Engineering scholarship while attending Eastern. Apply online and list the EU-Nova Engineering Fast Track today in the "major field" to find out eligibility.
Music Major Scholarship
Up to Full Tuition for music majors. It is recommended but not required that the audition be scheduled prior to April 1 to be considered for a music scholarship. To make an appointment for an audition call the music department at 610-341-4397.
Youth Ministry Major Scholarship
Up to $2,000.00. Prospective students who will be declaring to be a Youth Ministry major may be eligible for a Youth Ministry scholarship upon acceptance to Eastern University. Apply online and list the Youth Ministry major in the "major field" to find out eligibility.
The Faith, Reason and Justice Distinctions
Faith, Reason, and Justice Scholarship Contest
Up to $3,000. Students entering their senior year of high school are eligible to apply for the Faith, Reason, and Justice Scholarship Contest. The deadline is September 1, 2017. Each college (College of Business and Leadership, College of Education, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Health and Social Sciences) will have 4 finalists. 16 winners will be selected, 4 from each college. 3 students will earn $1,500 annually for 4 years ($6,000 in total), and 1 student will earn $3,000 annually for 4 years ($12,000 in total). Christian High School Commuter Award
50% Tuition Discount. For students who graduated from Christian high schools; must be admitted to Eastern and commute from their home address. This award is in place of your original scholarship received upon admittance and represents the full amount of aid you can receive (although you may qualify for state and federal aid).
Eastern Family Grant
$2,500.00. For families with two or more children enrolled as full-time, undergraduate students, concurrently.
Young Life Award(s)
Up to $2,000.00. The Young Life Ballbach Fellows is a unique partnership between Young Life and Eastern University. If you participated in Young Life in high school, you may be eligible for $1000.00. If you are willing to take the Young Life/FCA leadership class, you may be eligible for another $1000.00. Print YL Application.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Award(s)
Up to $2,000.00. The FCA Wadman Fellows is a unique partnership between FCA and Eastern University. If you participated in FCA in high school, you may be eligible for $1000.00. If you are willing to take the Young Life/FCA leadership class, you may be eligible for another $1000.00. Print FCA Application.
$1,000.00. Awarded to an entering student of a parent or grandparent who is an alum of Eastern University. Apply to EU today to see if you are eligible!
$1,000.00. Eastern University will provide a Ministerial Discount for eligible undergraduates, ordained ministers, missionaries, or their undergraduate dependents for the current academic year.
The Matching Grants
Church Matching Grant
Up to $2,000.00. If your church donates money toward your educational costs from its unrestricted budget and you have need, Eastern will match that money up to $1,000 for the academic year (if there is no need, then up to $500). Need is determined by the student filing a FAFSA.
Young Life Match Grant
Up to $2,000.00. If Young Life donates money toward your educational costs from its unrestricted budget, and you have need, Eastern will match that money up to $1,000 for the academic year (if there is no need, then up to $500). Need is determined by the student filing a FAFSA. For full details on how you can receive any of these grants please contact the admissions office.
Academic Scholarships Upon Admittance for Transfers
Up to $12,000.00. Transfer Students who apply to Eastern are considered for an academic scholarship or grant upon acceptance. The scholarship is renewable by achieving the yearly criteria. Apply to EU today to see if you are eligible!

David and Valerie Black Scholarship for Transfers
$12,500.00. For transfer students from community colleges; must be admitted to Eastern and commute from your home address and have a 2.75 GPA from your previous college work. This scholarship is in place of your original scholarship received upon acceptance and represents the full amount of Eastern aid you can receive (although you may also qualify for state and federal aid, including loans).
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship for Transfers
Up to $2,000.00. Offered to members of Phi Theta Kappa transferring to Eastern University from community college. Valued at $1,000 - $2,000; amount varies by CGPA.

Advent Christian Partnership
Berkshire Christian College and Eastern University have established an academic program on Eastern's campus that prepares Advent Christian young people to become the church's future leaders. Also, Berkshire is offering scholarship aid for qualifying students who enroll at Eastern. American Baptist Grants & Loans
Applicants must be a member of an American Baptist Church for at least one year before applying for aid, be enrolled at an accredited educational institution in the USA or Puerto Rico, and be a United States citizen. For more information call 1-800-ABC-3USA or www.abhms.org.
Other Important Aid Information at Eastern
The Eastern Financial Aid Office also has the right to modify your financial aid awards at any time during the award year. Some of the reasons this would happen are change of enrollment status, receipt of outside scholarship or loan, change in housing status, failure to make Satisfactory Academic Progress, or as a result of the Federal Verification process.
