Ashley Spracklen is an adjunct professor and faculty teaching assistant in the Master of Science in Data Science program at Eastern University. She teaches and supports graduate-level courses, with a focus on applied data science, statistics, and clear, accessible instruction that emphasizes real-world application and student success.
In addition to her work at Eastern, Ashley has over a decade of experience teaching secondary and college-level courses, currently specializing in statistics, computer science principles, and engineering design and robotics. She has designed and expanded programs in AP Statistics and AP Computer Science, integrating programming, data analysis, and technology to foster student engagement, conceptual understanding, and critical thinking.
Ashley holds an M.S. in Data Science from Eastern University and contributes to statistics textbook development, curriculum design, and the facilitation of professional learning. Her professional interests include data-informed education, the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence in learning, and the intersection of analytics, pedagogy, and educational innovation.
