Iyenani Zabadi serves as the Wellness Promotion Coordinator at Eastern University's Center for Health & Wellness, where she develops and leads campus-wide initiatives that promote holistic well-being. Her work focuses on empowering students through health education, wellness coaching, prevention programming, and collaborative initiatives that support the eight dimensions of wellness.

Iyenani holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Business Management and a Master of Science in Health Services Management. She is a Certified Wellness Program Coordinator (CWPC) through the Chapman Institute, a Certified QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Gatekeeper Instructor, and a Certified Breathwork Facilitator. She has also completed training in Mental Health First Aid, BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students), HIPAA compliance, and bloodborne pathogens, equipping her to provide evidence-informed wellness education, prevention programming, and supportive coaching for the campus community.

Passionate about creating a culture of care, Iyenani believes wellness extends beyond physical health to include emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, occupational, financial, and environmental well-being. Her areas of interest include mental health promotion, healthy relationships, substance use prevention, mindfulness, wellness coaching, and creating inclusive, strengths-based programs that help students flourish. Through workshops, wellness coaching, peer education, and campus partnerships, she strives to create meaningful opportunities for students to grow, connect, and thrive throughout their college experience.
