Jamie Andrews

Director of Graduate Programs, Adjunct Professor


Jamie Andrews is the Director of Graduate Programs and an Adjunct Faculty member in the School of Mathematics and Computational Sciences, where he oversees program administration and leads curriculum development while teaching at the graduate level. He brings a unique blend of academic, nonprofit, and applied data science experience, including several years in data analysis and team leadership at one of the largest Christian organizations in the United States. His current focus is on leveraging machine learning to improve outcomes across educational institutions and nonprofit organizations.

Prof. Andrews partners with a number of religious and nonprofit organizations, building data workflows and machine learning models that are actively shaping member engagement strategies and financial growth. He also plays a leading role in designing accessible, real-world-focused Data Science and Machine Learning curriculum at both the high school and graduate levels.

In addition to his teaching and nonprofit work, he is actively exploring the use of agentic AI and automation tools to enhance educational content development and streamline academic operations. His years living in Slovakia, where he was involved in faith-based community work, shaped his cross-cultural perspective and deepened his commitment to mission-driven initiatives. Prof. Andrews is passionate about helping students and organizations harness the power of data to make informed, impactful decisions.
