- All first class one and two ounce envelopes are picked up each business day at 4:00 p.m.
- Packages that need to be sent out via United Parcel Service must be in the Mail Center by 3:00 p.m. each day.
- Outbound mail collected during the day is processed for delivery to the USPS at 4:00 p.m.
Couriers for Overnight or Second-Day Service
UPS* 3:00 p.m. cutoff
USPS Express/Priority* 4:15 p.m. cutoff
*Mail Services recommends using the United States Postal Service or United Parcel Service for overnight or second day service. Both of these couriers are guaranteed and their cost is less than their competitors.
To conserve costs, do not use overnight services on Friday. Consider Priority USPS mail for Monday delivery.
