Travel is better when it's shared. Eastern Destinations lets you explore the world with people who have something important in common with you: a love for Christ and a connection to Eastern University. We handle the planning, booking, and logistics, so you can focus on the experience, the people around you, and the memories you'll bring home.

You don't have to manage any of the details. Working with our travel partner, Mayfair Travel, and its faith-based travel division, Stephen's Gate Tours, we arrange your hotels, in-country group transportation, and the full itinerary. Most trips also include daily breakfasts and at least two group dinners: a welcome dinner and a farewell celebration.

You get the same ease and structure as a professionally guided tour. The difference is who you travel with. Our goal is to build every group around the Eastern community, so you're sharing the journey with fellow alumni, family, and friends.

Every trip includes a faith element, and it varies by destination. Some trips set aside time for personal worship and prayer. Others may be built entirely around a faith theme, such as walking in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul.

Our trips are open to Eastern alumni, faculty, staff, and anyone with a genuine connection to them, including spouses, family members, and friends.

Some trips welcome children, and others are designed for adults only. Each trip listing clearly states whether children under 16 can attend.

Trips are planned by Eastern University's Alumni and Family Engagement team together with Mayfair Travel and its faith-based travel division, Stephen's Gate Tours, which bring years of experience designing group travel. In the future, we plan to partner with Eastern's colleges, deans, and faculty to create trips for affinity groups, academic majors, and reunion classes.

Our trips mix international and domestic destinations. They vary in length, style, and mode of travel, from single-day excursions to multi-week journeys abroad. Domestic trips may go anywhere in the 50 states, Puerto Rico, or Washington, D.C.

We plan to offer at least one international trip and two to three domestic/day trips each year. As interest grows, we hope to offer even more!

Each trip is priced for double or single occupancy. The price includes:

• Hotel accommodations
• Group transportation during planned excursions
• Admission and visitation fees for scheduled sightseeing, plus tolls
• Daily breakfasts and at least two group dinners on most trips

Specific inclusions may vary by trip and will be listed in each trip's details.

Meals not listed in the itinerary and gratuities for tour guides and drivers are not included. We'll share suggested tipping guidelines before each trip.

Create an account on the Eastern Destinations travel page and submit your deposit. Deposits are typically $300–$500 per person, depending on the trip.

Deposits are non-refundable. The only exception is if Eastern or Mayfair Travel cancels the trip.

Travel insurance isn't required, but we strongly recommend it to protect your investment. We'll share reliable coverage options when you book.

You're welcome to make your own flight arrangements. If you do, you'll be responsible for your own transfers to and from the group's meeting point.
