Allison is a social worker and couples therapist with experience across educational, clinical, hospital, private practice, and international settings. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Psychology and a Master of Social Work from Eastern University. Her experience includes working as a school counselor at an international school in Ghana, developing and leading a mental health group counseling program at a women’s prison in Ghana, completing clinical training at a public hospital’s therapy and wellness center, and working with individuals and families in private practice. She currently works as a couples therapist, supporting couples as they navigate challenges, strengthen communication, and build healthier, more connected relationships.

Growing up internationally and experiencing different cultures from an early age deeply shaped Allison’s understanding of people, relationships, and the experiences that shape who we become. It also sparked a lifelong love of travel, exploring new places, and learning from people and cultures along the way. These experiences continue to influence her clinical work and teaching, where she values culture, context, and each person’s unique story.

As a Master of Social Work Support Instructor at Eastern University, Allison enjoys connecting with students, supporting their professional and personal growth, and learning from their unique stories and experiences.
