Cary Burgos is an Adjunct Social Work Professor at Eastern University and a Licensed Social Worker currently serving as a School Social Worker. In her role as a School Social Worker, she supports students and families while collaborating with educators and community partners to address basic, social-emotional and behavioral needs.
Professor Burgos teaches the Advanced Internship course at Eastern University and is passionate about the opportunity to support and shape the next generation of Social Workers. She enjoys helping students connect what they are learning in the classroom to their real-world experiences in the field while creating a supportive environment where students can ask questions, think critically, reflect on their practice and grow both personally and professionally.
Professor Burgos earned her BSW from Millersville University in 2016 and her MSW in 2018. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their son.
