Cristina “Crissy” Reedy brings more than twenty-five years of social work experience to her work as an educator, clinician, and leader. Her career has spanned behavioral health, residential and outpatient treatment, community-based services, program leadership, and higher education. Crissy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (BCD), holds the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) credential, and is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC).

Crissy earned her Master of Social Work from Temple University and a Master of Women’s Leadership from Shiloh University. She is currently completing her Doctor of Social Work at Millersville University, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026. Her clinical and leadership experience shapes her approach to social work education and her passion for helping students develop confidence, strengthen their professional identities, and connect classroom learning with practice. Her research interests center on women’s issues, including intimate partner violence and the intersection of faith and resilience.

Outside of her professional and academic work, Crissy enjoys traveling, working out, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends—and, of course, her Yorkie, Paisley. Always up for an adventure, she enjoys exploring new places, trying new restaurants, and making memories along the way.
