Kristen is the Academic Advising Manager for the MSW program at Eastern University. She primarily works with the online masters students. Kristen received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Florida State University. She chose social work as her major because she wanted to help people, and loved the opportunities that social work offered. Her undergraduate advisor had an MSW, and once Kristen found out that advising was a “real” job, she knew that that is what she wanted to pursue. 

Kristen came to Eastern University after nearly 7 years at Temple University. Originally from Florida, Kristen has been in the Philadelphia area since 2019 and now resides in Delaware County. She has helped college students for over a decade, and has been an advisor to many different majors. The majority of her advising career has been with Undeclared students, but she is excited to come back to her roots in social work. In her free time, Kristen enjoys crafting, reading, and cheering for all Philly sports teams and the Florida State Seminoles.
