PEP will not be accepting new applications until Summer 2024. 

1) Eastern Submits Application Materials to PA DOC

2) Principals / Educational Administrators Schedule and Advertise for Exams

3) Students take exams and complete applications

4) All exams, applications, and FAFSAs are sent to PA DOC

5) All exams, applications, and FAFSAs are sent to Eastern University

6) Eastern evaluates exams and provides a list of the top 30 candidates to PA DOC

7) Top 30 candidates are interviewed

8) Top 20-25 candidates are selected for the program

9) Candidates are transferred to SCI-Chester (if they are not there already)

10) College Readiness Classes Begin Early April (needed 1-2 more weeks)

11) Summer Semester begins
