Our Vision
The vision of The Faith and Leadership Center is to serve as a hub and as a community for Christian leaders by providing an accessible space (virtual and physical), resources, and opportunities that foster collaboration, encouragement, and resource sharing geared towards informing, inspiring, and equipping Christian leaders in their continuing journey of integrating their faith fully with their leadership practice.
Our Purpose & Origins
The Faith and Leadership Center at Eastern University is a response to a call to place the outstanding potential represented by the resources of the community of the PhD in Organizational Leadership program at the service of the wider kingdom of the Lord in the area of leadership.
Launching at an auspicious moment—coinciding with the program's 20th anniversary—the purpose of the Center is to bridge Christian faith with substantive dialogue in leadership scholarship and practice. This is accomplished through three main activities:
- Serving as a Hub: Curating up-to-date information on scholarship, practical literature, events, and actors engaged in the integration of faith and leadership.
- Encouraging Research: Supporting rigorous, peer-reviewed scholarship and hosting events that address strategic gaps in current literature.
- Disseminating Resources: Translating research findings into accessible educational materials that empower believers to lead authentically, ethically, and relationally in the public square.
