Kelly Trump
Kelly graduated with her Bachelor's degree and teaching license from Longwood University in Virginia. She knew she wanted to help children and have an impact on their lives. She taught 7th grade English for 8 years in rural, public schools. When her family grew, she sought a role with greater work-life balance and moved to a nonprofit social work agency. She filled administrative and coordinator roles on community-based service teams and assisted in reporting for statewide grants. She has experience with High Fidelity Wraparound, youth aging out of foster care, and adoption. In this role, she discovered a love of reporting and data, which brought her to Eastern University. She earned her Masters in Data Science in 2025 and has stayed on as a Support Instructor since graduating. While she now works as a Data Analyst in a corporate role, her desire to support children and families, and the teachers and social workers on the front lines, remains strong. She is excited to support the MSW program with technical Brightspace updates. Kelly lives in Virginia with her family and loves to read, sew, and pet her old cats.
