Laura Dupiton

Adjunct Professor, Doctoral Programs in Marriage and Family Therapy


Dr. Dupiton is the Assistant Director of Outpatient services at a community mental health agency in Philadelphia that serves children and families. She supervises clinicians from various educational and professional backgrounds to assist them toward receiving their professional license.  She has been teaching in the Marriage and Family Therapy Department as an adjunct since 2018 and is passionate about taking part in training future clinicians in the importance of self-of-the therapist work.

      Research Interests

      Dr. Dupiton's research interests lie in cultural competence, racial equity, person-of-the therapist work, and systems theories.
