Dr. Abere Kassa is an Associate Professor in the PhD in Organizational Leadership program, teaching courses on quantitative research methods and leadership. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in higher education. He holds a Ph.D. in Management with a focus on Organizational Behavior from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. His research interests include team and team processes, trust between and among people, organizational citizenship behavior, and leadership. He has also earned the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.

Dr. Kassa’s career spans several prestigious institutions, including Millersville University and the State University of New York at Potsdam. Prior to his work in the U.S., Dr. Kassa taught and also held the position of Assistant Dean at the College of Business and Economics at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. Moreover, Dr. Kassa has conducted training and consultancy works in the areas of good governance, leadership, human resource management, and numerous other areas for businesses as well as government and non-government organizations. Beyond his extensive educational and work experience, he has also contributed to numerous research publications and is an active member in several professional bodies.
