Angeli J. Fernandez, Esq., is an Assistant Professor in the College of Business and Leadership at Eastern University, where she teaches undergraduate students. Prior to joining the faculty full-time, she served as an adjunct instructor at Eastern.

Angeli's path into legal academia began with a philosophy degree from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where she minored in both Cognitive Science and English and presented undergraduate research on topics like institutional decision-making and civic participation. That grounding in questions of agency, rules, and discretion has shaped her legal career ever since. She went on to earn her J.D. from Drexel University's Kline School of Law with a business concentration, attending as a full-ride Keystone Scholar and recipient of the Robert B. Washburn Scholarship for Intellectual Property Law.

As a Pennsylvania-barred attorney, Angeli began her legal career with pro bono work at the Mazzoni Law Center. She then joined Stradley Ronon, where she worked on intellectual property matters and developed core practice skills in contract review, evidentiary work, and regulatory research. She went on to NewLane Finance, focusing on regulatory compliance, before moving to Bull Blockchain LLP, where she practiced securities law and trademark law. At White and Williams LLP, her practice expanded to include multiple multi-district litigation cases, cybersecurity law issues, and copyright law issues on behalf of regional, national, and international corporate clients. In recent years, her attention has turned to artificial intelligence, earning certifications in AI ethics, law, and agentic systems from institutions including Politecnico di Milano, IBM, and Vanderbilt University.
