Dr. Christian Akaeze is a professor of Business Analytics and Education Leadership who holds two doctoral degrees: a Doctor of Business Administration with a specialization in International Business and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership. He has served as an adjunct professor at Eastern University since 2025 and is also a senior adjunct professor at St. Francis College in New York. In addition, he teaches at the University of Port Harcourt in Nigeria, where he delivers courses in business education and management.
With more than fifteen years of experience in higher education, Dr. Akaeze brings academic scholarship and practical professional insight to his teaching and mentoring. His work centers on leadership development, strategic management, and innovative educational practices that help institutions build stronger systems and prepare future leaders.
Dr. Akaeze also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Your Education Your Voice Initiative and the Standing By Your Dream Initiative, organizations dedicated to expanding educational opportunities and strengthening community development in Nigeria. Through these initiatives, he supports programs that promote access to education and empower emerging generations.
His research and professional interests include organizational leadership, strategic planning, educational innovation, and the role of diaspora communities in socio-economic development. Dr. Akaeze has published works on higher education policy, leadership practices, and sustainable development, and he also consults with organizations seeking to improve leadership capacity and long-term growth strategies.
Committed to creating supportive learning environments, Dr. Akaeze values empathy, engagement, and inclusiveness in the classroom so that every student feels encouraged to succeed. He also holds several professional certifications, including Harvard University’s Strategic Management certification, Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Scrum Master, and CompTIA Security+, which help him remain aligned with evolving business and technology practices.
Outside of his academic and professional work, Dr. Akaeze enjoys reading about emerging business trends and spending time with his family.
