David DelPo is a Visiting Professor of Accounting in the College of Business and Leadership. In addition to holding a Master’s in Accounting from Cabrini University, he has both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Public School Accountant (PSA) license. Before joining Eastern, he taught a range of undergraduate and graduate accounting courses at Cabrini, Holy Family, Rider, and Monmouth. In addition to in-person instruction, he has tutored online a range of traditional and adult learners, including those preparing for the CPA exam.
In the classroom, David is passionate about bringing creativity and an innovative spirit, adopting a student-centered approach and stressing the transformative power of financial education. He integrates real-world scenarios while challenging students to think critically. David is an accomplished musician who plays the piano and guitar. He is from New Jersey and enjoys chess and creative writing.

As a Cabrini alum, Eastern holds special significance in its proximity and familiarity. In tandem, this diverse group of believers enables me to share my Christian faith openly, enabling a richer and more comprehensive education. Through the application of faith, reason, and justice, Eastern embodies values that I too share, and I am grateful to be a part of this community.
