Jodi Desimone
Jodi Desimone believes in the importance of holistic care, while ensuring a therapeutic setting to promote a sense of well-being, healing and spiritual formation.
She is a dedicated and licensed mental health professional with a comprehensive background in providing crisis intervention, clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic services across diverse environments including university, private practice, and community settings. Jodi has proven expertise in utilizing evidence-based modalities such as DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing with a trauma-informed focus. She is highly skilled in coordinating client care, developing robust referral networks, and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support the mental and social adjustment of clients across all age groups.
Jodi has earned her M.S. in Higher Education Counseling with Licensure as a Professional Counselor and as a Behavioral Specialist. She also has a B.A. in Psychology from Eastern University. Currently, Jodi is a doctoral student at Eastern University in the D.A. Marriage and Family Studies Program with a goal to design a curriculum for a psychoeducational workshop series that will benefit Eastern University’s students as they develop their God given skills and talent.
A native of northern Vermont, Jodi enjoys spending time with her four grown children, husband, and friends.
