Dr. Nadine S. Samuels serves as an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the College of Business and Leadership at Eastern University. She teaches a variety of accounting courses, including Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, and Auditing.

Nadine has an extensive background as a Certified Public Accountant, having worked in corporate environments that include American Express, Donna Karan, State Street Bank, and SS&C Technologies. Her career has spanned auditing, operations, and strategic leadership, with roles including Auditor, Vice President, Senior Director, Managing Director, and Head of Operations. As an academic, Nadine previously held a tenure-track Assistant Professor position at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Canton.

Nadine also brings extensive international experience, having worked with cross-cultural teams throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. She lived and worked in China and Singapore, where she helped build and lead offshore and locally outsourced private equity accounting operations.

Outside of academia, Nadine is the founder and owner of Zemora Advisory, a boutique coaching and advisory firm. Through Zemora, she serves as a strategic partner to trailblazing leaders - those who are often the first or one of few in their spaces - as they navigate their careers or businesses.

Her professional, entrepreneurial, and academic experiences inform her commitment to connecting accounting theory with real-world practice and developing the next generation of business leaders.
