Dr. Ti’Onya Green, PhD, is an accomplished scholar, consultant, and educator with nearly three decades of experience in federal service delivery programs. Over the past 28 years, she has directed and managed large-scale initiatives involving affordable and low-income housing, federal and state program compliance, and workforce training and development within government systems. Her extensive background in program oversight and human-centered service delivery informs her consulting work with faith-based businesses and nonprofit organizations. In addition to this work, Dr. Green serves as a federal and foundation grant writer, providing strategic guidance, leadership development, and capacity-building support to help organizations strengthen their impact and sustainability.
Dr. Green has been part of the Eastern University community since 2023, where she takes great pride in teaching and mentoring students. She is especially passionate about guiding learners through their capstone experience, encouraging them to think beyond traditional limits and embrace change as a catalyst for growth. She believes that education extends far beyond earning a grade—it is about applying knowledge in meaningful, practical ways that drive transformation in individuals, organizations, and communities.
In addition to her role at Eastern University, Dr. Green has served as an adjunct faculty member at Grand Canyon University for the past seven years. Her teaching philosophy centers on recognizing the diverse ways students learn. She understands that some thrive with clear written instruction, while others benefit from hybrid approaches that blend structure, exploration, and collaboration. Dr. Green’s approach to serving her students is grounded in active listening, discernment, and the intentional use of real-life experiences to make complex concepts relatable and impactful.
