Dr. Tonya Rivers is an undergraduate and graduate level Adjunct Faculty member in the College of Business and Leadership. Dr. Rivers is an instructor, MBA capstone advisor and course developer bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and applied learning incorporating real-world business case studies, current industry trends, and shared experiences into instruction. Dr. Rivers provides students with an in-depth knowledge of best business practices, ethics, and strategies for success by building a collaborative, interactive, and creative learning experience using technology as a tool for developing student research skills, industry knowledge, and a mindset for success.

Dr. Rivers has over two decades of corporate leadership experience in finance and business coupled with 10+ years in full-time entrepreneurship specializing in training, program development, global business strategies, leadership, organizational change implementation, financial and economic management, and innovation strategies for small businesses, non-profit organizations, and corporations. She has produced a range of articles, additional publications, and books, while continuing to focus on her research interests.
