These are services designed to provide supportive, skill-building conversations that help students navigate everyday challenges while promoting whole-person wellness. They include:
- Substance Use Support – confidential guidance around alcohol, cannabis, and other substances with a focus on harm reduction and safe decision-making.
- Behavioral & Emotional Wellness – support for students struggling with conflict, poor judgment, or emotional regulation.
- Stress & Academic Support – coaching in time management, stress management, and motivation.
- General Reflective Counseling – a safe space for students to process life changes, set goals, and explore personal growth.
- Leadership & Peer Support – specialized guidance for student leaders in areas such as boundaries and conflict resolution.
Please note that Wellness Counseling differs from therapy provided through CAPS. While therapy addresses mental health diagnoses and treatment, Wellness Counseling focuses on skills development, reflection, and personal growth in a supportive, faith-informed environment.
