Eight full-time and two part-time public safety officers, a sergeant and a director are assigned to campus security and public safety. The officers are not armed and do not have the authority to arrest. Prior to employment, officers undergo a thorough selection process. Candidates for employment must pass a criminal record check by the state police, a background investigation, a psychological evaluation by a licensed psychologist, and interviews with the director and other administrators. We seek to recruit candidates with integrity who possess the skills necessary to function effectively in a Christian university environment.
