Excellence. Creativity. Storytelling. The University Marketing & Communications department is dedicated to accurately representing and promoting Eastern University's distinctive excellence as a Christian institution of higher learning. We serve all colleges of the University.
Our goal is to celebrate and share the news and accomplishments of academic programs, alumni, faculty, leadership, partners, staff, and students. Through brochures, billboards, TV commercials, radio ads, public transit ads, digital ads, social media posts, webpages, banners, flyers, and more, we showcase Eastern's diverse programs and accomplishments. Using the best tools available, we engage consultants and vendors as an additional resource for marketing services to help in executing strategic marketing initiatives.
Our office is also responsible for public relations, media relations, communication strategies, and crisis communication. We oversee all social media accounts for the University and execute photography and videography to document the life of the University. We publish two issues a year of Eastern, The Magazine of Eastern University.
Our Associate Vice President for Marketing and Enrollment and our Director of Marketing and Communications oversee the service areas within the department: Strategic Communications & Marketing, Branding & Design, Public Relations, Video & Social Media, and Web & Writing.
The people who work in our department are our greatest asset. Their knowledge and ability to multi-task across a variety of projects and demanding deadlines is commendable.
