

Dr. Abere Kassa serves as an Associate Professor in the Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership program at Eastern University, specializing in Leadership, Trust and Trust Development, and Quantitative Research Methods. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration, Management Concentration, Organizational Behavior Track, from Wayne State University, and an MBA and BA in Management from Addis Ababa University. Before joining Eastern University, Dr. Kassa held faculty positions at Millersville University, SUNY Potsdam, and Addis Ababa University, where he served as both full-time faculty and Assistant Dean. He maintains SHRM-SCP certification and remains actively engaged in scholarly and professional organizations, including the Academy of Management, Southern Management Association, and Eastern Management Association.
Dr. Kassa's primary research interests revolve around leadership, team trust, organizational citizenship behavior, and program evaluation. He regularly presents at professional conferences and publishes in peer-reviewed academic journals.
