Jennifer McDonnell is a Lecturer in the College of Business and Leadership at Eastern University. She teaches a variety of classes in the Financial Services Concentration, including Investment Management, Financial Markets & Institutions, and Financial Industry Fundamentals.

After 30 years as a leader in the Financial Services industry, Jennifer followed her passion for teaching and transitioned into higher education as a college professor. Prior to this, she served as Managing Director at Nationwide Financial, where she led the East Institutional Sales Team—comprising of Professional Buyer Relationship Managers, Institutional Investment Consultants, and Investment Specialists. Her team was responsible for driving institutional placements and sales of Nationwide mutual funds and ETFs through Investment Research teams and Elite Advisors at broker-dealers, consulting firms, turnkey asset management platforms, RIAs, banks, and retirement platforms. Jennifer joined Nationwide in 2009 and brings over 30 years of industry experience, with a strong focus on sales and distribution.

Before joining Nationwide, Jennifer was Senior Vice President at Harborside Sales Group, where she provided distribution consulting and third-party sales strategies to asset managers. Prior to that, she served as a Senior Sales Executive at Vanguard, where she was responsible for placing ETFs and mutual funds on wirehouse and regional broker-dealer home office platforms and models. Earlier in her career, Jennifer held sales and management roles at T. Rowe Price and Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, and began her professional career as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand.

Jennifer and her husband Jamie have two children who are both recent college graduates. They enjoy sports and lead an active lifestyle in West Chester. When they're not in Pennsylvania, you'll likely find them on a beach, a boat, or enjoying just about anything related to the water.
