Dr. John M. Clark is an educator, researcher, and Project Management Professional (PMP) whose work focuses on project management, artificial intelligence, and the application of emerging technologies to organizational decision-making. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Management with a specialization in Project Management from Capella University, where his doctoral research examined project management competencies and project complexity as predictors of project success. He also holds an M.S. in Business and Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Business and Finance from Mount St. Mary’s University. Dr. Clark has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in project management, quantitative methods, and operations management at several universities, including Eastern University, and received Post University’s 2025 Faculty Impact Award for excellence in online pedagogy and mentoring. 

At Harrisburg University, he conducted AI research that included developing an Artificial Intelligence Project Management Engine designed to integrate machine learning with project management principles; this work received a First Place Research Innovation Award in 2024. His additional research has explored AI-powered Delphi methods and the ethical implications of human attachment to AI collaborators. Dr. Clark has presented on AI, project leadership, and organizational change at professional conferences. His professional and scholarly work reflects a continuing interest in connecting project management theory with practical approaches to leadership, technology, and organizational performance.
