Tutoring

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) offers peer tutoring and tutoring through NetTutor. Services are offered free of charge to currently enrolled and registered students.

  • The ARC peer tutoring program offers students in programs support outside the classroom in most subject areas from other students who have performed successfully in those subjects. Tutors may also help students with note-taking, time management, and study skills. Tutoring is arranged by appointment. In-person or virtual options may be available, depending on student and staff preference and availability.

To request peer tutoring for undergraduate courses, complete this Peer Tutor Request Form. You can also reach out to the Academic Resource Center at arc@eastern.edu or 610-225-5567 for more information.

  • ARC has partnered with NetTutor to offer online tutoring, giving both undergraduate and graduate students increased flexibility in how and when they can access support. (Check out this video to get a preview of the NetTutor experience.) Students must access NetTutor directly from their course's Brightspace homepage. The link is located in a support box on the right side that reads  "Looking for help with a course?" Click on the NetTutor link to connect. This service is available for traditional and nontraditional undergraduates and graduate students.
