The Parent Pathways Program at Eastern University is a specialized support initiative funded by the Pennsylvania Parent Pathways Initiative. This program is designed exclusively for undergraduate students enrolled in the LifeFlex program who are balancing the responsibilities of raising children while pursuing their degree.
Through this state-funded grant, we provide a community of care and tangible financial resources to help student-parents persist to graduation.
Program Benefits & Financial Support
Eligible students in the Parent Pathways Program receive a comprehensive support package:
PA Parent Pathways Grant: A specialized financial aid award applied directly to your student account to help offset tuition and educational costs.
Emergency Fund: All participating students receive a small stipend to help cover unexpected costs that might interrupt your studies (e.g., childcare emergencies, car repairs, or housing instability).
Bi-Weekly Academic Coaching: Individualized one-on-one sessions every two weeks focused on time management, LifeFlex course pacing, and work-life-school balance.
Bi-Weekly Writing Assistance: Dedicated support every two weeks to help you refine assignments and maintain academic excellence.
