We offer several opportunities for immersion experiences during the academic year. What is an immersion opportunity? Beyond typical volunteer work, it emphasizes cultural learning and awareness of various justice issues to challenge participants' assumptions. Past opportunities have involved Urban Promise, visits to the African American Museum and reentry simulations at Eastern State Penitentiary. These trips are exceptional opportunities for students and faculty to engage in education, ministry and service.
