Eastern University Athletics is taking the next steps in our storied history by renovating and expanding athletic facilities to support our student-athletes and the broader Eastern community.

Recent improvements include the renovated baseball and softball fields; upgraded locker rooms; the acquisition of additional land adjoining our campus, which includes a football field; enhanced athletic training space; a complete overhaul of the gymnasium, including a video scoreboard, sound system, lights, and new bleachers; and many other behind-the-scenes improvements that enhance the student-athlete experience.

Upcoming Projects include a 50,000-square-foot expansion of the gymnasium building, featuring state-of-the-art athletic training facilities, dance and wrestling spaces, a team meeting room, an additional fitness center, and expanded locker rooms.

At Eastern, athletics are more than competition. The focus, teamwork, and discipline honed through every practice and competition equip student-athletes to lead with faith, reason, and justice in the classroom, in their communities and churches, in their families, and in their future workplaces.
