Admissions Requirements
- Application: Completed and signed - Apply Online Now!
- Identity Verification: Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a separate email with a secure link to complete identity verification through the PLAID platform. This step confirms your identity as part of the application process and must be finished before your application can be reviewed.
- Minimum Undergraduate GPA of 2.5 required. Applicants with an undergraduate GPA below 2.5 will be considered on a case by case basis and must submit a GPA letter. A graduate GPA over 3.0 can also satisfy the minimum GPA requirement.
- Official transcript(s) from the degree conferring undergraduate (and graduate if applicable; more info below) institution you attended, must be from a college or university with institutional accreditation* that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- *Applicants with unaccredited Bachelor's Degrees can be considered for admission on a case by case basis.
- Transcripted studies should reflect adequate preparation for study in the relevant graduate program.

- Transfer Credit Requirements: For students who wish to transfer credits into the MBA program from another institution, an Official Graduate Transcript will be required to evaluate eligibility.
- The credits must be from relevant graduate coursework completed as part of a master’s program where the degree has not yet been conferred.
- Students planning to transfer credits must submit official transcripts within 30 days of the start of their first course.
- Students must submit course syllabi for all courses being considered for transfer credit.
- A maximum of 3 courses/ 9 credits may be transferred into the MBA program upon approval.
- A curriculum vitae or resume indicating educational and work history, internships, and leadership roles or experiences.
International Students:
- International applicants from non-English-speaking countries must provide a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (internet-based test), 550 (written test), or 213 (computer-based test) taken within 2 years of the desired term of entry. The institutional code for Eastern University is 2220. For more information visit www.toefl.org. As an alternative, scores for the Duolingo English Test are also accepted.
- Eastern University requires a course-by-course evaluation completed for any international college courses taken. We accept evaluations from any member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) organization. Find a list of NACES members.
- You can also submit an Evaluation Request Form through TEC- The Evaluation Company, or ECE to have your credentials evaluated at a discounted rate.
