Joseph M. Giammarco

Dr. Giammarco is a Professor in the Astronomy and Physics Department at Eastern University. He received his PhD in Particle Physics Theory from Temple University. His research interests include computational physics, binary stars, optical tomography and inverse problems and their application to the physical sciences. Joe has been a co-author on numerous peer-reviewed publications.  His most recent projects have been involved with The Bradstreet Observatory, the PHOEBE (Physics Of Eclipsing Binaries) project and the Yodh Laboratory for Bio-Medical Optics.  Dr. Giammarco has been at Eastern since 2007.
