The Leadership Fellows program is designed to advance and support students’ understanding and demonstration of servant leadership within the Eastern community and the global community at large. The program aims to prepare students for purposeful cultural integration as productive innovators and leaders; to commit and engage in addressing current societal problems and to influence the world through a thoughtful commitment to Christian character and behavioral integrity.

Fellowship Objectives

Through dedicated classroom learning, practical hands-on leadership experience, and intentional mentoring, students learn how to:

  • Inspire others in their pursuit of the common good as living models of Christ-centered leadership

  • Lead a major campus organization
  • Understand and discern effective uses of strategic leadership methods 
  • Effectively lead and share vision in an organization
  • Identify their leadership strengths and styles
  • Strengthen their effectiveness as leaders
  • Understand leadership from a Biblical perspective
  • Practice spiritual disciplines and personal character development
  • Lead with behavioral integrity
