To meet the listed deadlines, an application and all supplemental items must be submitted by the dates referenced above.

BS in Early Childhood Studies Admissions Requirements

  • Application: Completed and signed. Apply online for free!

  • Official Transcripts:
    • High School or GED 
    • College (must be submitted from all institutions attended)
      - How to Request a Transcript: View FAQs about requesting a transcript from your previous school(s).

  • Minimum Undergraduate GPA of 2.5 required. 
    - Applicants with an undergraduate GPA below 2.5 will be considered on a case by case basis and must submit a GPA letter. 
    - A graduate GPA over 3.0 can also satisfy the minimum GPA requirement.

  • Identity Verification: Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a separate email with a secure link to complete identity verification through the PLAID platform. This step confirms your identity as part of the application process and must be finished before your application can be reviewed.

  • Note for International Students: International applicants will comply with the same requirements as US applicants with a few additional elements. Please see the Prospective International Students' First Stop website for more information.
