Audition Details
An audition is required for acceptance into the music major.
Admission to the University does not guarantee acceptance into the Music Department. A successful audition is required for consideration and admittance into the program.
Audition Dates
Fall 2026:
- November 16th, 2026: 8am-2pm
- December 7th, 2026: 8am-2pm

Accompaniment
If accompaniment is needed to perform in your audition, the auditioning student is expected to bring their own accompanist. An accompanist can be requested from Eastern University if notice is given to the Music Office at least 2 weeks in advance from your audition date. Accompaniment can be sent in electronically.
